2021 Mid-Year Report

With 2021 officially halfway over, we wanted to take the time to give you an update about our program services so far this year. We have filled 85 individual needs, with an impact of 255 individuals. Our most frequent needs are electric bills, followed closely by rent payments, and a majority of our need requests were for women. From utility bills, to rent, to home repairs, to childcare payments, to car maintenance, medication, and more, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of folks here in the High Country. And in the midst of it all, we raised over $20,000 to benefit the family of George and Michelle Ligon following April's tragic shootings. There's still much work to be done and new needs coming in every day - and we are grateful for the support of our community that allows us to do this work. We couldn't do it without you!
