NEED #6466 | Medical Bill for Struggling Family

WATAUGA | We are currently working with a family with a child who recently needed emergency surgery. They applied for Medicaid but missed eligibility by a small amount, but since the surgery was necessary they proceeded. They were able to get insurance, but the deductible is very high, and now they are on the hook for a bill of over $5,000 even after insurance assistance. We would like to fundraise up to $1,000 to help take a chunk out of this bill and help the family breathe a little easier and focus on the child's recovery.
