Heat Up the High Country

It's that time of year again! It's finally starting to feel like fall again in the High Country, and that means it's time to Heat Up the High Country! As temperatures continue to drop into the fall and winter seasons, folks in our area will soon be needing extra assistance keeping gas in their tanks to keep their homes warm. Heating fuel can be expensive, that's why for the third year in a row we are establishing our Heat Up the High Country campaign to help keep the heat on from now through April of 2022. How can you help? It's simple! All you have to do is click on the link below to donate toward our fund. You can make a one time donation, or you can sign up for a monthly recurring donation that will automatically terminate when the campaign ends in April. You can donate as much or as little as you're able, but a monthly recurring donation of $10, $25, or even $50 will go a long way in helping people stay warm this fall and winter. Whether it's an elderly widow, a single mother, or a family of four, the Heat Up the High Country campaign allows us to partner with other organizations in our area like WeCAN, WAMY, and Blue Ridge Energy to help us keep the heat on for our struggling neighbors when they need it the most.
