Here are a few unusual ways you’ve changed lives so far this year:

• Housing: Helped an elderly neighbor move from the third floor of her apartment complex to a unit on the ground floor.

• Transportation: Purchased a car radiator for a young man who had the skills to fix his own car but lacked the funds for parts.

• Medical: Covered the insurance deductible for man’s new glasses and provided a medical helmet for an infant.
